Jim and his wife Jacqueline several years ago, when having a wee trip up to one of our favourite spots, Plockton we did spend the day on Skye and visited the distillery and was given a warm welcome and an even warmer dram, very much well worth a visit not just for a grand dram but the scenery is outstanding.
This bottle is readily available in most supermarkets and certainly available online and at your specialist Whisky shop.
The distillery does tours throughout the year with certain exceptions, so visit their site to check the dates and make a booking, you will enjoy the day.
Remember, if you are buy this for a friend it is rich and full of sweet dried fruits with loads of smoke, giving you a warmth with lots of pepper, this is one of Jim’s favourites, check out the Whisky Boys tasting of this dram.
