North Star Sprits
A 20017-vintage Croftengea single malt from independent bottler North Star Spirits' Periodical series - a range of single cask whiskies from individual casks with low yields. This single malt has spent 14 years in a single oloroso sherry barrel, creating a whisky with a rich, spiced character.

A 2010-vintage Glenglassaugh single malt that was matured in a single ex-oloroso sherry Puncheon for a decade, before being bottled in 2021 as part of its Rare Cask Release series. Elegant aromas of smoke, red cherry, wild berries, ground coffee and cocoa powder fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla ice cream, sweet pineapple chunks, coconut milk and creamy banana throughout the palate.
The second release in the Sailor's Home Island Series, Caravelle is named after the type of ship used for long voyages through the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, and for Presqu’ile de la Caravelle - a wild and lush natural reserve in Martinique. Matured for at least a decade in American oak ex-bourbon casks, Caravelle has been finished in Martinique Rhum Agricole casks, creating aromas of pineapple, dry savannah grass and demerara sugar on the nose. The palate offers notes of creamy toffee, green sugar cane, blood orange, liquorice and candied bananas throughout the palate.
A lovely gift set from Sailor's Home, featuring a bottle of The Journey blended Irish Whiskey and a stylish glass to enjoy it from. A fruity, sweet Irish whiskey from Sailor's Home, The Journey is a combination of whiskies that have been matured in bourbon barrels and virgin American oak barrels, and finished in a combination of bourbon barrels and Jamaican rum casks. Aromas of fudge, coffee, vanilla custard and sweet apricot preserve fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple crumble, cinnamon and banana bread throughout the palate.
A 2009-vintage single cask Benriach single malt, this peated whisky was matured for 12 years in an ex-port pipe, before being bottled in 2021. The palate offers notes of black cherries, dates, rich espresso and dark chocolate ganache that linger in the finish.
A 2009 Benriach peated single malt that was matured for 11 years in a single port pipe, before being bottled in 2020 as part of its Cask Edition range. Aromas of honey-drizzled fruit, strawberry panna cotta, vanilla cheesecake and soft smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of chocolate cake, wild berries, clove-studded oranges, red apples and aromatic smoke throughout the palate.
South Star Spirits
A 2013-vintage Islay single malt from independent bottler South Star Spirits, made at a mystery distillery on the island and matured in a small batch of hogsheads for eight years, before being bottled in 2021. Rich, smoky aromas fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla, sea salt, peat smoke, oak and ashy bonfires throughout the palate.
A 2011-vintage Highland single malt from independent bottler South Star Spirits, made at a mystery distillery and matured in a small batch of casks for a decade. Aromas of dried oranges and tobacco fill the nose, complemented by notes of dark chocolates, roast hazelnuts, walnuts and sticky toffee throughout the palate.

A small-batch Speyside single malt from independent bottler South Star Spirits, made at a mystery distillery and matured in a batch of 10 first-fill hogsheads for a decade. Aromas of lively lemon, sweet fruit and delicate flowers fill the nose, complemented by notes of toffee, cinnamon, baked apples, pears and hints of salt throughout the palate.
A limited-edition blended grain whisky from creative blender and bottler Compass Box, Experimental is made with a combination of bourbon barrels and recharred casks, including an all-malt peated grain whisky from Loch Lomond that was distilled in a copper Coffey still. Aromas of ripe bananas, toffee, barbecued meats, vanilla, pear and raspberry fill the nose, complemented by notes of almond oil, vanilla, toffee apple, aromatic peat, lichen and oak spice throughout the palate.
A limited-edition blended Scotch whisky from creative blender Compass Box, Vellichor is a whisky inspired by stories, with its name meaning the smell and wistfulness of a second-hand bookstore. Bottled in January 2022 from a selection of bourbon barrels, sherry butts, recharred hogsheads and a refill hogshead, creating aromas of heathery honey, old leather-bound books and dusty pages that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of smouldering heather, vanilla, dried fruit, caramel and beeswax that linger in the finish.
A heavily peated whisky from Hellyers Road, one of Tasmania's surprising number of distilleries. Made using Tasmanian barley and matured in bourbon casks for a sweet, fruity and smoky dram.
A fruity, full-bodied French single malt from Wambrechies that has been matured in ex-Madeira casks. The palate offers notes of raisins, sultanas, candied orange peel, oak spice and vanilla that linger in the finish.
A rich and fruity French single malt from Wambrechies that has been matured in ex-sherry casks. Aromas of candied peel, prunes, raisins, sultanas and sticky dates fill the nose, complemented by notes of oak spice, cinnamon, vanilla, dried fruit and sweet raisins throughout the palate.
A sweet and nutty New Zealand Single malt from Cardrona, Growing Wings Solera has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and ex-oloroso sherry butts for five years. The palate offers notes of buttery pecan pie, treacle tarts and vanilla cream that linger in the finish.
A small batch bourbon from Wisconsin's Driftless Glen distillery, made using a mashbill of 60% corn, 20% rye and 20% malted barley, and matured in virgin American oak barrels until it was bottled at four-years-old. Aromas of charred oak, soft spice and vanilla fill the nose, complemented a creamy texture and notes of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, milk chocolate and red berries throughout the palate.
A four-year-old rye whiskey from Driftless Glen distillery in Wisconsin, USA, that was made with a mash-bill of 75% rye and 25% malted barley, then matured in virgin American oak barrels. Aromas of salted caramel, star anise and milk chocolate fill the nose, complemented by notes of rye spice, caramel, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and chocolate throughout the palate.
A cask strength edition in Aberlour's A'Bunadh range, Alba refers to Quercus Alba, the variety of American white oak used to make the ex-bourbon barrels that this whisky was exclusively matured in. Aromas of peaches and cream, tropical fruits, sweet malt and vanilla fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple and cinnamon pie, tropical fruits, creme Anglaise, autumn leaves and elegant flowers throughout the palate.
An English whisky from Copper Rivet Distillery that inspired by American and Japanese distilling. Made with Kentish malted barley that is initially pot distilled before being distilled in a column still and matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Aromas of vanilla mousse, toffee apples, candied zest and toasted oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla cream, dried plantain, ripe pears, hazelnuts and black pepper throughout the palate.
An English single grain whisky from Copper Rivet Distillery, distilled in a combination of pot and column stills and matured in a small parcel of barrels.

A limited-edition release from The Lakes Distillery's Whiskymaker's Editions series, Mosaic offers a diversion from the distillery's usual sherry-forward style. Inspired by the Silk Road, Mosaic offers aromas of wood smoke, crunchy autumn leaves and soft oak spice fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple blossom, sweet cherries, aromatic oak and delicate spice throughout the palate.

The fourth release in Cu Bocan's Creations series has been matured in a combination of Tawny Port and Cognac casks, in a nod to the Antrim cocktail. Aromas of plum jam, glazed cherries, cinnamon and chocolate fill the nose, complemented by notes of freshly-baked croissants, apricot and baked pears throughout the palate.
The third release in Cu Bocan's Creation series has been matured in a combination of North American Rye casks and Moroccan Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Aromas of soft smoke, raspberries, rose water, sweet balsamic vinegar and black figs fill the nose, complemented by notes of oranges, pineapple, mango, peppery spice and fiery ginger throughout the palate.
A limited release single malt from Benromach distillery's Contrasts series, Cara Gold Malt is made with malted Cara Gold barley as well as lightly peated malt and has been matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. Aromas of passionfruit, lychee, lime and malted biscuit fill the nose, complemented by notes of pineapple, juicy apricot, black pepper, toasted malt, butterscotch and sweet, smoky honey throughout the palate.
Island Smoke is a blended Scotch whisky from Black Bottle's Alchemy Series that offers a bold and peaty character. Aromas of toasted cedar planks, smouldering peat, sweet toffee and cinnamon fill the nose, complemented by notes of oatcakes, seaweed, salted caramel, cardamom and red chilli throughout the palate.
One of two initial releases in Black Bottle's Alchemy series, Double Cask is made with a combination of malt whisky matured in Spanish sherry casks and grain whisky matured in red wine casks. Aromas of blackcurrants, damsons, Seville orange, walnut and coffee cake fill the nose, complemented by notes of cherry, raspberry, vanilla cream, brown sugar, ginger and toffee throughout the palate.

The second release in Torabhaig's Legacy series single malt, Allt Glean is a smoky whisky made with a small parcel of casks from 2017 and 2018, each filled with heavily-peated whisky. Aromas of heathery smoke, blossom honey, barley sugars and salty sea air fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla cream, bonfire smoke, hot tar, oily brine and sweet spices throughout the palate.

Aromas of freshly-cut grass, caramel sauce, cinnamon-spiced apple strudel and tropical candied mango fill the nose, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, vanilla beans, nutmeg, pear jam and buttery croissants throughout the palate.

Aromas of grapefruit, juicy raisins, grape-flavoured bubble gum and flinty river rock pools fill the nose, complemented by notes of grapefruit juice, flaky shortcrust pastry, burnt caramel, treacle cake and lemon juice throughout the palate.

Blackadder Statement No.46 is a 1997 Ledaig single malt, matured in a single hogshead for almost quarter of a century before being bottled in July 2021 by indie bottler Blackadder.
Batch 3 of Islay distillery Kilchoman's small-batch UK exclusive single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-oloroso sherry and ex-Sauternes wine casks. Aromas of barbecued lemon wedges, mango, oatcakes and vanilla pods fill the nose, complemented by notes of green apples, honey, festive spices and rich, thick smoke that builds throughout the palate and lingers in the finish.
Johnnie Walker has released this limited-edition bottling of King George V in celebration of Lunar New Year 2022. It is decorated with illustrations by Chinese artist Shan Jiang. Sweet, smoky aromas break open on the nose, followed by orange, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate offers notes of dried fruit, vanilla, dark chocolate, toffee, roasted nuts and sweet fruit, fading into coastal smoke lingering in the finish.
A huge bottle of Monkey Shoulder 'Triple Malt' complete with pouring cradle. The malts in question are from three Speyside distilleries under Grants' ownership, blended for a fruity, vanilla-led whisky that's great on its own or in cocktails. Monkey Shoulder is named after the injury distillery workers were prone to suffering as a result of turning the malt.
