One of two initial releases in Black Bottle's Alchemy series, Double Cask is made with a combination of malt whisky matured in Spanish sherry casks and grain whisky matured in red wine casks. Aromas of blackcurrants, damsons, Seville orange, walnut and coffee cake fill the nose, complemented by notes of cherry, raspberry, vanilla cream, brown sugar, ginger and toffee throughout the palate.
