However, we can say that the distillery’s name begins with the letter ‘M’, it stands just west of Craigellachie, and its whiskies show a remarkable affinity for sherry. If that leaves any doubts in your mind, then they’ll likely be gone when you get this in your glass. On the nose it shows an immediately recognisable fruit and nut character with notes of orange zest, hot chocolate, walnut whips and sticky dried fruits.
