A sweet, complex blended whisky, White Heather 21 Year Old was created by the folks at Glenallachie distillery and is made with a blend of malt and grain whiskies, including single malt from Glenallachie and a peated Islay single malt. Matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenex and oloroso sherry puncheons, as well as Appalachian virgin oak casks, it offers aromas of heather honey, butterscotch, oak and peat smoke that fill the nose, complemented by notes of orange peel, rich smoke, butterscotch and heather honey throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
