This right here is a single cask bottling of 19 year old Glenlossie single malt, distilled in February 1997 and bottled in November 2016 by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
20 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery, aged in a refill hoggie which was laid down in 1996 and opened in 2016. This comes to us via Hunter Laing's First Editions series, with a very small outturn of only 83 bottles. Glengoyne whiskies are often very well-Sherried indeed, but this is a great chance to see the more honey'd side of their malt.
A well-Sherried blended malt Scotch whisky from German independent bottler Malts of Scotland, made with whiskies aged for at least 15 years.
An indie bottling of Tamdhu - we don't see nearly enough of these! This one was matured in a refill hogshead from August 1998 to 2016, before being bottled at 18 years old by Langside for the Distiller's Art series. A release of 130 bottles.
A 10 year old blended malt Scotch whisky from German indie bottler Malts of Scotland, with a particularly peaty flavour profile.
A single cask single malt French whisky from Domaine Des Hautes Glaces, the same folks behind that tasty Vulson White Rhino Rye. This was matured in a single cask that previously was home to Saint-Joseph white wine, before being bottled with an outturn of 270 bottles. It was released for La Maison du Whisky's 60th Anniversary celebrations.
A well-balanced single malt from the SPEY range released in late 2016 (alongside their first peated whisky - Fumare) matured in bourbon casks. The name comes from a Latin way of expressing balance, and the whisky certainly falls in line with that idea. A release of 18,000 bottles.
24 year old cask strength Glen Keith? Yes please! This is a Signatory bottling of single malt from the Glen Keith distillery drawn from a pair of bourbon barrels which were laid down in October 1992 and cracked open in October 2016. A release of 289 bottles.
Those of you that know Latin might know what to expect from SPEY Fumare, but those of you that don't and try this single malt from the Speyside distillery without hearing anything about it might be a little surprised - it's their first release of peated whisky! Launched in the latter half of 2016, Fumare (Latin for 'Smoky') is quite an interesting malt, with 18,000 bottles produced.
Indie Inchmurrin here, bottled by Bartels Whisky for their Highland laird range. This was distilled in 1984 and matured for 31 years in a single bourbon barrel before being bottled at 47% ABV.

A Signatory bottling of 23 year old Glenlossie single malt, aged in a single hogshead from November 1992 to June 2016. After it was matured, it was bottled for the Cask Strength Collection and bottled with an outturn of 253 bottles.
Originally released for the Japanese market, this special edition of Chivas Regal blended Scotch whisky was inspired by a trip that Master Distiller Colin Scott took to Japan. Part of the blend was matured in Mizunara oak casks, which is rather rare in the whisky world but always intriguing.
A limited edition bottling of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, with a festive design on the label and a rather handsome presentation box. Would make for wonderful present to unwrap on Christmas day (or any day, really).
ollowing on from Highland Park Ice Edition and their Valhalla Collection is the Highland Park Fire Edition! This 15 year old single malt was matured in refill Port casks before being bottled at 45.2% ABV, and presented in a cradle shaped like a mountain (or is it a volcano this time?).
A typically cheeky whisky from Compass Box, proudly proclaiming its age statement of three years old, when only a tiny amount of the whisky in the bottle is that young. The other 99% is a carefully selected combination of whiskies from "the village of Brora" and "distilled on the Isle of Skye". The result is a luxurious blended malt with carefully balanced smoke.
Kikori Whiskey, despite being from Japan, is a brand produced for the American market (hence the 'e' in whiskey). Made entirely from rice, and therefore a single grain whisky, this is aged for three years in a combination of American- French- and ex-sherry-oak. This has notes of melon, almond, apple and wood spice, and lends itself to use in cocktails, as well as on its own.
The 10th edition in Woodford Reserve's Master's Collection is made using white corn, rather than the usual yellow. This has resulted in a lighter and sweeter whiskey with notes of lemon custard, shortbread, white pepper and butter.
A single barrel rye whiskey from the Dad's Hat range, produced in Bristol, Pennsylvania. It was distilled in January 2013 and bottled at cask strength September 2016, released as part of La Maison du Whisky's 60th Anniversary celebrations. 240 bottles were produced.
A single cask bottling of Craigellachie single malt, drawn from a Sherry butt that was filled in September 1994 and cracked open in April 2016. It was bottled by Hunter Laing as part of the Old Malt Cask range. 332 bottles were produced.
Single cask Glenallachie, matured in a hogshead for 19 years, from October 1996 to September 2016. This has been independently bottled by Signatory at 43% ABV.

This great gift set makes the perfect present for fans of smoky whisky. It contains a bottle of Ardbeg's excellent 10 Year Old, along with miniature bottles of Uigeadail and Corryvreckan.
Megrez is the fourth release in Spirit of Hven's Seven Stars series. This lightly peated release has notes of pepper, vanilla, figs and raisins with a hint of sherry.
Ultis is the first blended malt from Chivas Regal. A blend of five Speyside malts – Allt a'Bhainne, Braeval, Longmorn, Strathisla and Tormore – this is a rounded, complex and full-flavoured whisky.
Matured for at least six years, Kinahan's Blended Irish Whiskey is a full-flavoured blend with notes of green apple, dark chocolate and mint.
Kinahan's 10 Year Old Single Malt has been aged exclusively in bourbon barrels. This is a rich whiskey with notes of tropical fruit, mandarin, pepper and orange tea.
A perfect showcase for the quality of Kavalan's Taiwanese made and matured spirit - a single cask bottling from a first-fill bourbon cask. Rich and fruity with lots of woody spice.
The Lustau edition from Redbreast highlights the use of sherry casks on the Irish spirit. This was finished in first-fill oloroso-sherry butts for a year, resulting in a creamy whisky with notes of liquorice, marzipan and dark fruits.

Launched in 2016, Jim Beam Double Oak is aged in in not one, but two, new charred-oak barrels. This has all the classic sweetness and flavours of Jim Beam White Label, but with added spice.
Edradour's Natural Cask Strength bottlings enjoy a lofty status, This one was distilled on 28 August 2002, aged in cask 1401 and bottled on 17 June 2016, yielding 702 bottles. The purest expression of the distillery's spirit, this is full of dried fruit and spice.
