Finish…Medium, dry, with a slight fruitiness right at the end.
Nose…Grass and pine but with a very small undertone, sweet and floral.
Taste…Very none descript, a little smokey/spicy, dry but quite enjoyable.
Finish…Medium dry and a little smoke.
Nose…A bit salty and a little sweetness.
Taste…Smooth with a little peat coming in.
Finish…Short finish but smoke gives way to a little sweetness.
This is a pleasant dram and you will be able to find this 12 year old in some of your high street supermarkets, as well as on line and specialist Whisky shops.
We all preferred the earlier dram (Glenlivet Archive) but there was not a lot in it.
