Roborel de Climens is finished for six to 12 months in ex-Merlot casks sourced from Chateau Gaudet, in Saint-Emilion — creating a distinct smoothness and notes of jammy red fruits. The nose and palate are coloured with rhubarb and a hint of smoky, woody spices that find solace in a dominantly fruity character.
