This is the third of the three tastings (see tastings on Linkwood Whisky and Tomintoul Whisky) Dougie and I had this evening (Thursday 17th June 2010) and it is the one that we left for the last.
This is the second of Dougie’s three tasting bottles. Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland. Tomintoul Distillery is located in the Glenlivet Estate at Ballantruan.

Wednesday night June 16th 2010 and it is only Jim and Dougie at the tasting table tonight, and as we both love Islay malts this is one that we were both eagerly looking forward to.
