Now for some Nicola’s Highlights.
Outstanding dram of the year:- Glen Scotia Victoriana
Other Delightful Whiskies are:
Glen Moray 10 Year Old Chardonnay cask matured
Arran Machrie Moor – Cask Strength
Glenfarclas 105
Scotch Malt Whisky Society – 93.99 ‘Drambletown Loch 15 Year Old Glen Scotia
Like Jim, these are just a small selection of grand drams tasted in 2019 by Nicola.
Nicola’s favourite distillery for 2019 is
Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown. Great Tour with a Warehouse tasting thrown in.
Nicola also got to visit the four distilleries I visited on the Chivas trip. Nicola had the company of Annabel Meikle for this excellent couple of days.
As we now rush to 2020 we hope once again to taste some outstanding drams and visit new distilleries.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.
