Whisky Bargains – Supermarket Best Buys October 2010

Whisky bargains – Whisky bargains – Whisky bargains, the season is now upon us. From now and rightmorrisons-logo1 up to Christmas all Whisky drinkers need to be on their toes, because the bargains are out there, and are changing and getting better every day.

Jims great find this week was down at one of our favourite stores, Morrisons in Falkirk.

It worked out to be a double whammy.whyte-mackay-glasgow-blended-scotch-whisky

The first bottle on offer was :-

Whyte & Mackay Glasgow Special Blended Scotch Whisky, 40% Alc/vol, 70cl

At first glance the price of only £12.00 seemed just okay.

The second bottle was :-

Teacher’s Highland Cream Blended Scotch Whisky, 40% Alc/vol, 70cl

Again this was priced at only £12.00.

The double whammy is that if you bought both you could have them for a total price of £18.00 which means it was only £9.00 each,teachers-highland-cream-scotch-whisky2now that is what we call a bargain, and Jim and Nicola have both took advantage of this offer.

This we think is the best offer so far in this the start of the Whisky bargain season.

We will try to keep all our readers up to date with as many offers that we come across, but we think that wont be easy, as we expect this year to be one of the best for Whisky bargains in both Single Malts and Blended Whiskies.

A wee note to all our supermarkets, if you want to advise the Whisky Boys of any up and coming offers then let us know and we shall publish them on this site.

To all our readers have a great time Whisky bargain hunting.
