Scotch Whisky – Supermarket Best Buys April 2010
It is April 8th 2010 and Jim is just back from ASDA where Jim found three bargains, and these are:-
Teachers Highland Cream Blended Scotch Whisky 70 cl bottle for only £10.00. This very well known dram containing at least 45% Malt Whisky and is an ideal sipping Whisky.
The next big bargain is a 1 litre bottle of Bell’s Blended Scotch Whisky Extra Special and is a blend of thirty five mature Malt and Grain Whiskies from all the Whisky regions of Scotland and the heart of which is the Blair Athol Malt, and are brought together to create an outstanding Scotch Whisky blend. The cost of the litre bottle is only £14.00.
The last but not least bargain is a single malt Ardmore Whisky – Traditional Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% Alc/vol 70cl bottle size. A young slightly peated Single Malt and has been finished in quarter casks to speed up maturation. The price of this smashing Single Malt is only £20.00.
As you may guess Jim did not pass on any of these bargains a bottle of each of the blends was purchased and two bottles of the Ardmore.
