This single cask rye whiskey from WhistlePig was named after the Filipino chief and warrior who helped defeat the Spanish forces in the Battle of Mactan 1521. This bottling was matured in American Oak and moved to ex-rum casks from the Philippines, imparting aromas of underripe banana, clove, candied citrus and butterscotch on the nose.
