Made in 1979 at Girvan distillery, this single grain whisky as been matured in a single refill hogshead for four decades, before being bottled by Douglas Laing in May 2019, as part of its Xtra Old Particular range. Sweet aromas of vanilla, pineapple, fudge and caramel popcorn fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of apricot, peaches, lime, sweet cereals and warm spices.
