A 2009 Caol Ila single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single hogshead for 11 years before being bottled in October 2020 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of pickled capers, tangy tomatoes, barbecue sauce, lemon peel and savoury peat smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of honey-smoked ham, barbecued pineapple, elderflower and rich smoke throughout the palate.
