A limited-edition single malt from Balvenie, released as a part of the DCS Compendium Chapter 4. Distilled in March 1971, this 47-year-old whisky was aged in a European oak oloroso sherry butt, resulting in a rich a fruity dram, with notes of exotic spices, honey, oak and dark fruits.

The penultimate chapter in The Balvenie DCS Compenium, entitled Expecting the Unexpected, this collection of five whiskies includes distinctive vintages that are completely different to the signature style of Balvenie.
