70cl / 41.5% – The first whisky from Ziegler Distillery, Freud Whisky Distillers Cut is a homage to the distillery’s home town – Freudenberg. Initially matured in a combination of chestnut casks and ex-bourbon barrels, before being finished in casks that previously held Ziegler Old Plum brandy. The palate offers notes of toasted chestnuts, orange zest, green apples, honeysuckle, vanilla, plums and soft smoke that linger in the finish.
