70cl / 48% / Hunter Laing – A 1996 Auchroisk single malt from independent bottler Hunter Laing that was matured in an ex-sherry butt for quarter of a century, before being bottled in 2022 as part of its First Editions series. Aromas of milk chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, almonds and juicy berries fill the nose, complemented by notes of apples, caramel, white flowers, vanilla and oak spice throughout the palate.
