A 2008 Deanston single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single barrel before being bottled in March 2021 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of fresh-from-the-oven apple and hazelnut pie, oat cookies, calvados-laced custard, white grape juice and summer flowers fill the nose, complemented by notes of stewed apple, apricot, cinnamon, pink peppercorns, Greek yoghurt and crunchy ginger flapjacks throughout the palate.
