The new packaging the bottle and outer tube feature a copper foil image of a flying Golden Eagle. The spectacular packaging gives the look of a very rich, rare and premium bottling.

This new dram will be a direct replacement to The Ardmore Traditional Cask as it’s core expression.

The Ardmore Legacy continues the Distiller’s long history of producing the only traditionally peated Highland single malt.

The Legacy is produced in Ardmore’s traditional way and uses 80% Peated Malt and 20% Unpeated Malt.

The tasting

The Ardmore Legacy – A Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Chill Filtered, 40% Alc/vol. 70 cl.

Colour…Golden honey

Nose…Light sweet peat smoke hits you first, runny honey, newly dried linen, monkey nut shells, rich toffee, hot dog brine, maybe even the slightest hint of lavender.
Taste…Sweet toffee popcorn, vanilla, mild spice note, buttery feel to the palate,
Finish…Long, delightfully sweet and smokey.

Score…4 Corks

Loved it, loved it, just loved it, this is now one of the Whisky Boys best friends, light sweet peat smoke with runny honey, what’s not to like.

Ardmore, well done to all, this is one terrific dram and at less than £30.00 one or two will certainly always be in our cabinet. This one will be included in our next tasting event, the world needs to have a wee taste of this very fine dram.
