A 1994 Springbank single malt from indie bottler North Star Spirits, matured in a refill bourbon hogshead for 25 years before being bottled in October 2020. Aromas of smoky burnt lemon, salty water, beeswax and kerosene fill the nose, complemented by notes of warm tar and salty driftwood on the palate, with waves of savoury peat smoke lingering in the finish.
