Seelbach’s Private Reserve | Batch 3
This third release, from 2022, was inspired by a bubbly bourbon cocktail invented at the Seelbach Hotel. The base is made by combining 84% of bourbon, that has been aged for four years and nine months, with 16% of 15-year-old bourbon – both from the State of Kentucky. Finished in Triple Sec liqueur and Pinot Meunier Champagne barrels, the result is a sweet and spicy bourbon with lovely floral notes. The nose offers aromas of dried mango, apricot and warm spices, followed by candied orange, tobacco and almonds throughout the palate.
