This single malt was drawn from a first-fill oloroso sherry butt after 18 years of maturation and bottled in 2023 by Signatory. The spirit’s essence is still present and there is a backbone of sooty peat smoke running through the intense dried fruit character of the whisky. Aromas of stewed fruit, heather, honeycomb and peat smoke fill the nose.
