A classic Glenrothes from Hunter Laing, bottled for the Old & Rare range at 31 years old. It was distilled in 1988, in the middle of a time of expansion and change at Glenrothes, and is very much an example of the distillery's modern, fruit and honey character. Three decades in cask have given the spirit time to mellow and develop a gentle oaky and herbal character, complimented by notes of honey and stewed fruit.
