A 2005 Caol Ila single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for 14 years, before being bottled as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of vanilla, oak, buttery toast and marmalade fill the nose. The palate offers notes of milk chocolate, charred oak, allspice and barley sugars that linger in the finish.
