A 2009 Blair Athol single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single sherry butt for a decade before being bottled in February 2020 as part of its Provenance series. Aromas of burnt sugar, toasted almonds, walnuts, red apples and malted barley fill the nose, complemented by notes of stewed fruits, pepper-covered strawberries, blackcurrants and pistachios on the palate.
