A 2009 Aird Mhor, bottled in December 2018 by Elixir Distillers for its Single Malts of Scotland series. The nose is clean and fresh, with a subtle smoke and leafy, autumnal aromas of bonfire smoke and cooking apples. The palate brings flavours of sherbet lemons, smoked almonds and sweet apple pie, before building to a softer, lingering finish of hazelnuts, lemon peel and wisps of wood smoke.
