70cl / 51.8% / Elixir Distillers – A 1992 Bruichladdich single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single hogshead for more than a quarter of a century, before being bottled in October 2019 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of baked sweet potatoes, salted caramel, toasted brioche and dessert wine fill the nose. The palate offers notes of apples, barley and oak chips, with hints of ground cinnamon and white pepper.
