70cl / 49.5% / The Whisky Exchange – A very special 1971-vintage blended malt: the pinnacle of The Decades range of whiskies, all bottled in honour of The Whisky Exchange’s co-founders’ family’s 50th year of working in the drinks industry. This is a great whisky to close out the range, with five decades of maturation creating huge complexity without hiding the underlying spirit. The result is a fruity and softly spicy dram that’s laden with sweet vanilla and sponge cake notes as well as layers of fruit, both fresh and dried. A crac
