70cl / 43.5% / Distillery Bottling – The oldest ongoing expression in the Benriach portfolio, this release takes inspiration from a time when peated malt from Speyside was lesser-seen, but Benriach made the choice to distil small amounts of peated spirit – sourcing its peat from the Highlands. This impressive single malt has been matured for four decades in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-port casks. There are aromas of honey and grapefruit, followed by peach and plum on the nose, leading to notes of dark chocolate, strawberries
