This is our second tasting of our day trip to the Capital, Jim and Nicola jumped in a taxi after our great tasting at Leslie’s Bar and headed over to Charlotte Square for our visit to the Highland Park Spiegeltent where we were to meet Pamela Wils of The Big Partnership who we cannot thank enough for this invitation….
Islay certainly did well at the recent Whisky Fringe held in Edinburgh.
It is early afternoon on Monday 23rd August, Jim and Nicola are heading to Edinburgh by train for our double tasting day.
Today we are venturing into Edinburgh, not for one engagement but two, I hope we are up to it…. time will tell, or should I say our followup post will tell.
Once we arrive in Edinburgh out first stop is Leslies Bar (Edinburgh’s finest Ale and Whisky House) at 4pm for a tasting of 4 delicious Glengoyne Single Malt Whiskies.
