70cl / 48.2% / Distillery Bottling – This exceptional whisky was produced during Brora’s last distillation run of 1977, the end of the storied distillery’s so-called ‘age of peat’. Brora closed in 1983 and stood silent long into the 21st century before undergoing a remarkable restoration and reopening in 2021. This 45-year-old single malt shows all the remarkable complexity and sweet peat character we’d hope to see from these smokier vintages. A genuinely rare experience.
