Christmas is coming | The SMWS Whisky Advent Calendar
Well, it is starting… every radio, TV and internet advert is popping up with all things sleigh bells and snowmen, not to mention the big man himself Santa. It got me thinking about Christmases gone by and the various traditions that families have. The Advent Calendar being one.
Now my wife is waxing lyrical about the M&S cosmetic advent calendar (think she is dropping not-too-subtle hints) – I am not so keen, but I thought I would have a look to see if there are any Whisky Advent Calendars I fancied this year.
Ya wee beauty! The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) has made us proud. They have a wonderful Whisky Advent Calendar which would make a perfect gift for the Whisky lover.
The calendar retails at £149.00 And for that, you get:

I have been well informed that the selection of Whiskies is phenomenal and will appeal to a cross-section of the Whisky-loving community. We will be following along during the 12 days of Christmas sampling the 12 tasty drams – follow our social channels to find out more.

Do not worry if you are not a member if you pay £199.00 you will get a year’s full membership, the advent calendar and the membership allow you access to the various venues and personally I can recommend dining in the venues – the food is brilliant. Quite a deal.
