The Scotch Malt Whisky Society has asked the Whisky Boys to offer a special bottling to any of our readers that join the SMWS.
After a special Whisky Tasting at the Queen Street home of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (hosted on this occassion by Helen Stewart, Brand Manager), Nicola and Jim have chosen this exceptional whisky for our readers:-

ember 1995, from a refill ex-bourbon hogshead, 54.9% Alc/vol 70cl, one of only 350 bottles, with a value in excess of £45.00.
The Whisky Boys tasting notes are:-
Colour…Pale golden sunshine.
Nose…Sweet fruits, coffee, woody vanilla with some honey.
Taste…Ultra smooth with a little medicinal hint, toffee and sugar covered pear drops.
Finish…Medium to long finish, very easy drinking dram, the toffee and coffee with some oak are still there.
We now understand why the SMWS have called this dram “EASY DRINKING DREAM”
