Talisker Whisky – Price Comparison August 2010
This comparison is for a Talisker 10 Year Old Isle of Skye Single Malt Scotch Whisky 45.8% Alc/vol 70cl Bottle.
This is a classic Island dram from the Isle of Skye. Lots of spice and fresh, tangy peat. This is always a good choice either for your own cabinet or to buy a dram when at your local.

Our first call was to the Whisky Castle (www.whiskycastle.co.uk) shop in Tomintoul, Jim has visited this shop on a couple of 
occasions and found the staff to be very helpful and a wonderful display of Whiskies are always on show. So if you had to order a bottle from here the cost would be £36.50 plus a further £10.00 for shipping and packaging.

Our next visit was into the Whisky Shop (www.whiskyshop.com) in Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow city centre and a bottle of Talisker from here would cost £38.50 and their shipping and packaging would be £7.50.

Our final call was to Master of Malt (www.masterofmalt.com) and they were running a special on this Island Dram, the bottle was selling for only £22.95 and when you add on the mailing costs of £6.95, for next working day delivery.
