A very special release of old grain whisky, bottled by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular range and celebrating the company's platinum anniversary – it's 70 years since patriarch Fred Douglas Laing started buying casks and blending. This whisky was distilled in 1978 at now-closed Port Dundas and was matured in a single refill hogshead before bottling in May 2018. Rich, old, elegant and full-flavoured – a masterpiece of grain whisky.
