A 12-year-old island single malt whisky, made in 2006 at a mystery distillery on Orkney and matured in five hogsheads for 12 years, before being bottled by Elixir Distillers in July 2019, as part of its Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series. Aromas of tart fruit, lime juice, sea salt, peach and smoked meats fill the nose. The palate offers notes of soft vanilla, gentle peat smoke, grassy wild rocket, parsley, cream and salty butter.
