The 2022-release of Longrow Red is a 15-year-old single malt that was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 11 years, before spending four years in fresh Pinot Noir barriques from well-known winemaker Grant Taylor's Valli vineyards in Central Otago, New Zealand. Aromas of custard, bramble jam, red apples, cherries, toffee, butterscotch and smoky embers fill the nose, complemented by notes of cranberry, raspberry, rich malt, waves of smoke and hints of sea salt throughout the palate.
