Lochlea | Single Malt First Release
The inaugural release from Lochlea Distillery, built on the farm that was once home to world-famous Scottish poet Robert Burns, this single malt is fully traceable from field, to cask, to bottle. Aromas of ripe apples, pears and oranges open on the nose, followed by toffee, vanilla fudge and brown sugar. The palate offers notes of burnt caramel, hazelnuts, stewed fruit, toasted oats, cinnamon and clove, complemented by fresh fruit and lingering spice in the finish.
