This remarkable single malt was distilled in October 1977, three decades before Littlemill closed its doors for good. After 40 years in refill American oak it was transferred to first-fill oloroso hogsheads for finishing. Five years in sherry casks added notes of hazelnut, caramel and sultana to a complex palate of pineapple, elderflower, kiwi and grapefruit. A beautiful Lowland whisky and a great expression of this lost distillery’s unique character.
