Bottled in 2018, this Laphroaig 25 Year Old has been expertly crafted by marrying whisky aged in oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon barrels. The resulting single malt is creamy, sweet, oaky and rich, with heavily-sherried aromas of ripe fruit, peat and a hint of sea-salt. The palate initially offers a burst of peat smoke, quickly calming to sweet, spicy apple notes.
