A softly smoky Swiss single malt from Langatun distillery, Old Bear is made with peated malt and is matured in ex-Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine casks. Fresh smoke fills the nose, alongside aromas of red fruits and waxy orange. The palate offers notes of juicy grapes, toffee and wood smoke that develop into dark chocolate and smouldering peat fires that linger in the finish.
