Batch 2 of Isle of Arran's Lagg Distillery Inaugural Release is a heavily peated single malt that was finished in ex-oloroso sherry casks and bottled in 2022. Aromas of earthy peat smoke, sweet toasted nuts, cocoa and sticky fruitcake fill the nose, complemented by notes of chewy toffee, red fruits, creamy vanilla, bold peat smoke, salted caramel, bonfire embers and toasted oak throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
