This limited-edition Johnnie Walker was created by master blender Jim Beveridge as he prepared to retire after a long and storied career. It’s striking that the man behind some of the great whiskies of modern times chose to create his legacy blend using just one single grain and one single malt. Casks of grain whisky from Cameronbridge provide baseline notes of vanilla, cream and butterscotch, while malt whisky from Roseisle adds soft white fruits and caramelised bananas. Fresh hints of elderflower and blossoms lift those sweeter elements nicely, making for a perfect balance of flavours befitting of a great master blender. Limited to just 1,000 bottles worldwide, this unique blend was initially only available at Johnny Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh.
