Waffles & Maple Syrup was distilled in 1988 by Invergordon distillery, matured in a single cask and bottled by Wemyss. This single grain whisky has an aromatic and sweet nose; orange oil, sandalwood and pine needles mingle with fennel, caraway, stewed fruit and raisin. The palate offers notes of honey and maple syrup, quickly building to caramel, American waffles and bananas. The finish is long and slightly spicy, notes of mild chilli and smoked maple linger.
