A 1989 Girvan single grain whisky from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for three decades, before being bottled in December 2019 as part of its Old Particular range. Aromas of sponge cake with raspberry jam, spicy oak and tinned peaches fill the nose. The palate offers notes of vanilla cream, stewed fruits, lemon peel, orange zest and caramel popcorn.
