A 2001 Caol Ila single malt from indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail, matured in a single first-fill bourbon barrel for 19 years, before being bottled in March 2021 exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. Aromas of honey-glazed ham, aniseed and poached pears fill the nose, complemented by notes of black pepper, green apples and smoking bonfire embers throughout the palate.
