The historic Stitzel-Weller distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, closed its doors in 1992. Reopened in 2014, the distillery now produces multiple bourbon brands including Blade & Bow – first introduced to the market in 2015. This whiskey is made by using a solera system ageing process to preserve the distillery’s oldest whiskey stock, some of it produced before the 1992 closure.
