This 1972 Benromach single malt was released as a part of the distillery’s Heritage Cask collection. The nose is sweet and rich, with vanilla, honey, pineapples and custard immediately present, before slowly developing into beeswax, mature oak and fresh menthol aromas. The palate is velvet-smooth, and offers flavours of ripe tropical fruits mingling with warm black pepper, candied orange peel and dried tobacco. This is one of only 75 bottles released worldwide.
