A 1997 Benrinnes single malt from independent bottler Hunter Laing that was matured in a refill hogshead for quarter of a century, before being bottled in August 2022 as part of its Old Malt Cask series. Aromas of vanilla custard, brioche and freshly-baked sponge cake fill the nose, complemented by notes of caramel, sultanas, butterscotch and sugared almonds throughout the palate.
